    Manuel Antonio National Park contains several short trails, all of which are easily accessible and well
    maintained .These trails provide the best opportunity in Costa Rica to see Howlers, White Faced and

    This 4700Ha reserve forms an oasis for wildlife from a large surrounding area. Carara offers a rich
    biodiversity due to its transitional position between the dry northern forest and the humid tropical
    forests of the south. Carara has fauna and flora from both ecosystems and a virgin forest that covers
    most of the park. This reserve is known for its abundant birds and also for being one of the last habitats
    in Costa Rica of the Scarlet Macaw.
    We will take you close to the Carara National Park.
    On your way toward the Bijagual Waterfall you will enjoy some of the most spectacular panoramic views
    in the country. This waterfall of an altitude of more than two hundred meters was once used as a
    landmark for some of the pirates that frequented our coasts.  While riding your well trained horse, you
    will be able to appreciate the flora and fauna the area has to offer.   You may see the Scarlett Macaws,
    Toucans, and Trogons who are some of the aerial family.  You may also spot monkeys or a Sloth just
    hanging around.  Many of the amphibious family can also be seen, so prepare yourself for this great
    adventure.  Make sure you bring your bathing suits to enjoy the natural pools the waterfall of Bijagual
